Charles Wesley Godwin is opening. Block party beforehand as well. Should be a good Wednesday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That is an amazing song live. Saw them live a few times in late 90s and early 00s. Mudshovel is definitely one of my top 5 all time live in person performances, and I've probably seen over 100 bands play live.
Finally got The Chief checked off my bucket list last weekend in Tinley Park. Great show, good mix of old and new stuff. Cody Jinks opened up, they were decent altho they seemed better suited for a honky tonk bar rather than outdoor amphitheater
Cody Jinks should not be warming up for any band. I saw Cody at Red Rocks he does just fine in an outdoor amphitheater.
it wasn't the band; it was the large spread out atmosphere. Their performance was fine technically; but in a jam packed honky tonk it would have been off the hook. Tinley Park ampitheatre is about as big and shaped very similarly to a AAA ballpark.
lol, also I disagree that he sang it like a woman; that's his normal singing voice. I've seen him live a couple times now. Altho upon a closer look I see he is rocking skinny jeans, which on a fat guy is a double no-no
Cody is the worlds best selling independent artist, he plays with a middle finger up to the corporate record labels.
I was just about to post this. I am not much a country music fan, but, this song is a great one and very relevant for the times.
tell me you grew up Independent Southern Baptist without telling me you grew up Independent Southern Baptist song on replay all day - The Old Country Church by Gaither Vocal Group
Saw Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, and Jinjer on Friday night. Jinjer killed it, BB was solid, Disturbed was...IMO outdated and did not age well. The crowd was the kind of crowd that does not get out much...I've never been surrounded by so many beta males... I am not an Alpha male, more like a beta with a hint of alpha on occasion, but I swear I could have run through the crowd slapping people on the back of the head and no one would have done anything. I found it odd. Maybe I shouldn't generalize crowds because I'm sure I sound like a ******. Tonight is one that I've been waiting for! Gojira, Mastadon, and Lorna Shore at the MGM music Hall at Fenway park. We have meet and greet passes for Gojira before the show. Now I wish I had meet and greet for Lorna Shore because Will Ramos is amazing! We have pit tickets as well so we are hoping to get on the front rail. Show starts at 7pm, we have to be in line by 2:45 to check in for the meet and greet. Should be a great day!
