I know I started 3-D shooting to get better at hunting but then found myself buying new bows to do different things.

I now have a "hunting' bow that is strictly for the woods. I figure if I shoot enough it will not be an issue if I dont shoot that bow all year round. I should be able to pick that bow up and go.

I also have a 3D setup. longer bow than my hunting bow. but set up for MBR and/or Hunter class. I switch stabs around etc.

NOW I am Getting a bow for spot shooting. longer brace, longer bow, and lighter draw wieght so I dont tire as quickly.

IS anyone else doing this or do I have a problem ;p

I could see myself being that way in a few years, but not now.

You're not the only one. There is a reason Ben/PA's tagline is "I have a problem. The solution is to own more bows."

The more archers I meet, the more I realize they have multiple bows. It's not you, it's the sport.

Never knew you were a spots shooter Frank. I have had 2-3 different target bows setup at pretty much all times for years now. Right now I have a Constitution that I've had for a while setup for indoors, a Sentinel for 3D, a destroyer for hunting, and I'll have a Brig shortly that will probably get setup for FITA and field.

Matt, this is my first year EVER shooting spots. My sportsman club has an indoor league so i figured what the heck. I am going to give it a whirl.

Figured if anything it will help my form for 3D.... ;)

If I was getting them for free.....it would make a diff......lol.

My "extra bows" are $1,400.00 a pop.

I don't get them for free but I do buy used bows and some of those deals are incredible. Doing all of my own bow work makes things even more affordable.

Possibly. I sold my do-all bow (101st), and bought a new, never fired Constitution to serve as my target bow (a little spots for the winter months, and 3D in the summer). Now that I have the bow, I don't have the time to shoot:p Hopefully that changes after this summer. Plans are just to add a hunting bow this summer and keep the Constitution as is as well as a backup.

I'm finding multiply set-ups are becoming my choice. I'd gotten really tired of losing arrows at 3d I was using a hunter mag crazy slow. So enter a brand new pse vendetta which will be a western game and 3d bow and I'll have my hunter mag for whitetails and indoor
