When you shoot a low pound (slower) bow, I have found having a my pins set up differently than "normal" is quite helpful. I shoot 50 lbs and one bow is set up with 15, 25, 30, 40. 15 yard pin for 10-20 yards. 25 pin for 21-28ish yards. It just made gap shooting easier for me. My new bow is currently set at 20, 30, 40 but I may set it to something else eventually too.
I have 3 pins, first is set at 25 and is good for 0-30 with minor adjustments. I won't take a shot at a deer over 30 but practice out to 50. It's all about what your comfortable with.
