Alright got a question for you guys. I have the muddy outfitter stand and just recently whenever I move the seat up and down, because when the deer come in or if I'm standing I like to move the seat out of the way, it squeaks so darn loud luckily hasn't happened on a deer yet. It seems it does it when it wants to so not all the time. I'm thinking either loosen up the nut on it but that could comprise the seat from staying up or spraying some wd 40 on it. Thoughts?

Those seats (along with other stands) come with a rubber washer or a plastic washer.. This stops the squeeking noise.. If there is not one there, go to the hardware store and buy one.. Might be able to just loosen up the nut and bolt, cut the plastic/rubber washer and slide it in and then tighten it back up. I use the rubber washers on EVERTHING that moves on all my stands.. It goes between 2 metal moving parts.. The thicker the plastic washer, the longer life you will get out of it.. Really separates the metal and takes care of noise..

    Hope that helped..

Yea it's got the plastic bushings/washers on there. Would switching them to a rubber style work better?

I'd say the rubber would definitely be better!
