Until they respond to me regarding their climbing stick recall I won't buy from them again.... Might not buy from them again regardless. Lots of companies make good products. Customer service is where its at.... Right now they get a thumbs down, IMO!!!

I have a Muddy Hunter Pro, its a super stand to carry in and out at 12 pounds. Easy to install, quite and very stable. Down side is its small. I just picked up 2 outfitter steels at ****s, on sale for 109. I haven't taken them out of the box yet. They will most like get put preseason and stay though out the season do to there weight.

So far I have had good luck with muddy products. Concerned about what I read above about the handling of the recall on the sticks, Like the man said customer service is key.

I wont buy from them ever. I havent yet but planned on in but when I was interviewing for an internship with them they were never honest with me. They would say to call them back in a week which I did and he would make an excuse. This went on for almost 2 months and I finally said screw it. Plus they arent made in America! Will be buying a Lone Wolf soon. I already have the sticks.

Muddy has some stand out products, but I dont believe they are the best. The Bloodsport arrows have terrible straitness tolerances. I also feel the bloodsport stands are super small. I will stick with my Lone Wolfs. Plus Lone Wolf is made in America!

The blood sport arrows are the older harvest time arrows which are awesome. But when muddy took over prices went sky high.

Bought their hang on and after putting it together I hung in my back yard and after sitting on it for 20sec I started taking it back apart and shipped it back. Seat compressed to nothing and the footrest felt like it would snap off if I rested my feet completely on it.
    And I'm only 215 lbs.
    4'3" but 215 lbs:)

The harness looks good but I have the tree spider.

I have the muddy pro hunter hang on and love it....its the one with the biggest platform which i believe is the pro hunter...anyway it has more room than the other stands they sell and I can sit on it all day without getting uncomfortable....very easy to adjust to any tree as well...I did leave the foot rest bar off of it so I can't speak on that but the stand is extremely solid for sure on and off the tree....feel more secure in this stand than any other hang on I've used....yes even lone wolf which is def top of line as well....throw some bow string wax in between all the bolts and on the washers and shell never make a peep either...great stand

I've got the safeguard harness and 3 outfitter hang ons. No issues from any of them. All seem to be well built and perform great in the field. I find the seats very comfortable on the stands and i dont feel cramped on the platform at 6'4" 260 lbs. The linemans belt on the harness is also the best I've used. It is a shame they aren't made in America, this fact will likely motivate me to purchase some lone wolf products.

I have quite a few muddy products and have always been very pleased overall. They have always returned any questions I had, almost instantly no matter what time it was.
No company is perfect and I do have some gripes, I'm not happy with the lack of backpack straps for my stand (they have them now for all and I can buy?), and some of the harness accessories you have to purchase instead of them being standard (the clips for the sticks). I wish the harness strap was about a foot or two longer....

Overall I'm very pleased with them. I don't have any of their arrows as no shop around me carries them and I like to buy a few test arrows before making a change.

The stand is very comfortable, light, seat does very well, and the foot rest does have some play, this is mainly due to the plastic washers to help reduce sound. I haven't had any issues and I used it every time I sit. The harness is awesome, comfortable and works as a system with the sticks and stand. The sticks are quick to get up, are sturdy, and I can get plenty high. One major advantage to them is that they open up on both sides, not just one.

I'll continue to buy from them most definitely.

Heckler, if you PM your contact info I'll help you put some pressure on them.

I bought the sticks and their bigger hang on with footrest. I like both of them very much. I'm 6'4" and 230. I seem to have no problem with sound or the footrest moving at all. The footrest is a nice addition for long sits just to change your sitting positions. I really like the sticks. Pegs on both sides and very easy to attach to tree.

This link below shows if should be recalled. I was worried for a second.

Love their Hunter Pro and sticks. Here's my review on their products. http://forums.bowhunting.com/showth...tdoors-Hunter-Pro-Hang-On-amp-Climbing-Sticks

Been using both all this season and I have no complaints thus far.

If you're a bigger guy - the Pro may be a bit small. I'm 5'8" 180lbs and its just the right size for me.

Not sure why they haven't responded to you. I got a response about my sticks in the same business day.
