Bols were you able to get the free DVD with each stand? And do you have an extra I can watch?

The stands are going to be fantastic. The platform is MASSIVE. The stand is light. And it has all of the adjustability of the Muddy and Lone Wolf stands. In fact, I really believe I am going to be ordering one more as it is too good of a deal to pass up.

One comparable Muddy Lock-on would set me back roughly $154.99 plus tax, shipping.

One comparable Lone Wolf Lock-on would set me back $200+ with tax, shipping. Even a decent used one on AT is gonna run me $140. I really think the Lone Wolf is the quietest out of the three, but for pre-hung sets, the Loggy Bayou's will fit the bill.

Two of these Loggy Bayou stands cost me $173.94 shipped. That is hard to argue with.

From what I have seen of the Muddy lock-ons and then comparing them to the Loggy Bayou, they are virtually the same stand.

As far as the seat pad is concerned, I think I am going to hold off for now. I need to order a Summit seat for my Lone Wolf climber as I know the current seat just isn't going to cut it.

Other than that, if I have three lock-ons and one climber, I will be more than ready for setting up on my first bow-kill this year. I wanna see how the current seats on the lock-ons will work. If they aren't comfy enough, I will buy some Muddy replacement seats in the future.

If you need a lock-on Fergus, I would get atleast one of the Loggy Bayou stands before they are sold out.

In the future I might pick up a good used Lone Wolf lock-on for day of sets but for now, I am more than happy with these stands.

The Muddy climbing sticks will be available in July! All the feedback we have been getting is they are the best new item at all the trade and consumer shows. A set of 4 will equal 10 pounds and retail for $129.00 I hope you check them out and see what you think and give us some feedback on all the Muddy products!

Her's the link. I'm going to purchash a single stick to use as my top stick so I can plant both feet while hanging. I look for them to make a longer version after everyone buys the short ones so I will wait and only buy a single stick.

What I don't get after looking at the website is, on the sticks they stress how the rope is so quiet with no noisy buckles but you get to the stand and you have extremely loud ratchet straps?

What loud ratchet straps? The new sticks have no ratchet straps at all.

He is talking about how they boast how quiet their sticks are with no buckles, but yet their lockons feature a ratchet strap to attach it to the tree.

    Thanks Captain Obvious. :D

FYI - the stand comes with a ratchet strap and a 2nd strap with a pull-buckle much like a Lone Wolf. You don't necessarily have to use the ratchet strap if you're concerned about noise. That's what I did this year, and it worked great. :tu:

Can you put a bottom strap on the Loggy Predator's just like a Muddy? I see they only have one up top. I might have to order a couple of them Loggy's before they are gone.
