Fergie, at long last, I have a review of this stand. I took it out today and sat in it this evening.

It packs well with a set of Lone Wolf Sticks and is not too heavy. I wouldn't say that it is a joy to carry on your back, but it is definatly better than alot of stands out there. The platform, seat, and frame are solid as a rock. The seat is pretty comfy, but the velcro straps that hold it down can make noise it you move around very much. Raising and lowering the seat to stand up is completly silent, which is to be expected. I didn't get a chance to try out the leveling features since I picked a strait tree. But from playing with it at the house, it seems really easy to use.

Overall it is an excellent stand and I would give it about an 8.5 out of 10.

Well I just arrived home from the ATA show in Indy and I have to say that I got an opportunity to see the new stand and sticks and I have to say that I am very impressed. The sticks are absolutly awsome. Be sure to check the blogs as I know that many of the guys had a chance to see them. I will definetly be getting a few sets when they become available in spring.

I liked the Muddy products and submitted a review that Duke will be putting up. The Hunter stand is awesome and only 12lbs. and I liked the sticks a lot. The safety harness was by far the best safety vest I saw at the show, watch for Muddy in 09!

I have the Lone Wolf sticks and I will be definetly switching to the new Muddy sticks this year. I wish they were longer or the same Lenght as the Lone Wolf though.

The sticks aren't going to be released for a few months yet. As soon as more photos/info is available on them we'll be the first to have it. That I can promise you. ;)

Spoke with Larry about the sticks at the show this weekend and they are still on pace for mid-summer. Just making a few final design changes!!! Can't wait to get mine! Be sure to check them out!

Let me know how those stands worked out. Did you get the Muddy seat pads to go with them?
