I just got one these trail cams for Xmas. Just wondering if anyone has one of these trail cams and how you liked them?
I haven't heard anything good about them. You can't beat the price. Let us know how it works out. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I have several of them. I've been using 3 of them for 2 years now and haven't had any issues with them. One set of batteries lasts me about 4 months on the cameras. The picture quality of the cameras is good but not great so don't expect to bring this up on the computer and see awesome detailed zoomed in. However, the way that I use my cameras is to simply locate bucks that I would like to hunt, many times on public. I like the fact that they are small.. easy to carry in and out. They are not extremely visible and they are not extremely expensive if someone ends up taking one (Hasn't happened yet.. crossing my fingers). I also purchased one of the 12MP cameras and like that one better because of the blackout flash so there is no spooking the deer. The quality of those pictures is better and it also has better distance an HD video. But all in all the 10MP Muddy camera is a good deal for the price. The only problem I had with one out of the three was that the plastic clasp the locks the front of the camera cracked slightly at one of the pivot points. Still works but afraid one of these days it's gonna break completely. Super glue worked all this season so can't complain. Hope this helps. I don't own any but have seen pics online that look decent for the price. Not sure if the trail cam thread here has any pics of them.
I have looked around the web a little and that camera has gotten some pretty good reviews. When it warms up a little here in MN I will put it out in the yard and try it out. If it works out I will probably buy a couple more of these. I hunt a public land so I am not going to invest a ton of money in cameras in case of theft.
