Mrs. Frost We have dirty saying in portuguese that goes like this: voce nasceu com a bunda pra lua, mulher! (translation: you were borned with your butt to the moon) Okay, let's go easy on me just because I am new... ? Tracee Frost just decided to get me under her wing and teach me and take me with her on her hunting (big time bow hunter)adventures... how cool is that? I am soooooo excited!!!! p.s.: I said before, I cant spell even a name, God have mercy!
Jack Frost is the legislative VP for the Alaskan Bowhunter's Association (ABA) and the long time archery WR brown bear holder as well as I think the 2nd or 3rd person to do the archery Super Slam after Chuck Adams. I think Josy means Stacee Frost who was his wife and hunting partner of many years and is currently a Director at Large for the ABA.
I would've not given better description of her and all. Acctually, will write that down in details, so I wont look as ignorant as you about her background when we meet for the coming dinner on Feb 27th. She became an acquantaince two years ago for other reasons, but after she saw my pictures at MAN'S WAREHOUSE here in Anchorage, she emailed me about bowhunting, and now we are buddies. On another note, for the two of you, her husband just died 2 weeks ago of prostate cancer. I went to his funeral service. I saw some of his expeditions in Africa and photos. A nice and outdstanding man!
Let's see; I guess I got too tired of being spoiled by the sunny days, gorgeous breath taking beaches, the wonderful food and bossa nova... decided to adventure out and see what the darkness and cold and the vast critters of AK had to offer, for a change...
This makes sense now. I was wondering If there was relation between the 2. I got to know Jack a little bit. I usually saw him at different P&Y conventions. Him and my dad talked here and there.
LOL..I went to Rio a couple of weeks after I got married in 2001. I used to hang around a guy for a long time that was from outside of Ipanema I believe...he was a good man and very gracious, as were most all the people I met in and from Brazil.
Sometimes, but mostly, I just either agree or complement the info, none other conotation. Pure and simple!
Okay, I must clarify here to all, especially to SB and Steve, that I didnt mean at all to be offend or be arrogant or dispitful of his question and comment on "being ignorant" as I believe he asked in the right meaning of what the word means: "lacking knowledge or comprehension of the thing specified" (Merrian Webster dictionary) and I answered with the purest meaning that I too, was learning with Rob's input on details on her and her family, that I was also ignorant about. I guess cutting through portuguese and spanish toward english, it might've felt dry to you. Sorry!
No worries angel!!!! I did not take it negatively at all!!!!! I took it as "she is going through alot" SB
Really? How cool! I havent gone back home since 2000, when I came to the U.S! I miss it all over there, a lot! Did you go for work or for fun, or both?
