Who watches it? Couldn't tell you.

I was watching sportscenter. They played her interview...and the name of the show was in the background.

Hey, my Mom used to watch it. Back off. Charles Gibson was part of my school morning routine for years.

I honestly don't see what the big deal is. This isn't Favre's first time dealing with allegations of cheating on his wife. What NFL player hasn't tried to screw some hot little "hostess"?

50% of marriages end in divorce, many involve cheating. Big freaking deal.

I don't give a rat's ass where the 'ol gunslinger dips his noodle, either. I jus tthink it's funny everyone is playing it off as "nothing" or "old news". The NFL obviously doesn't think it's old news. And, judging by Mrs. Favre's comments........she isn't taking it lightly, either. She's citing Bible verses on national television, for crying out loud.

If it's "nothing"......why is it in the news?

If it was just him cheating, the league wouldn't give a flip. There's more to the story. She was a team employee. He was a team employee. Big deal (apparently).

I've seen the pictures of the little gunslinger and his crocs, it made this whole story turn very very amusing. As if it weren't enough before.

You think the drama queen Favre is enjoying this drama? He does like the spotlight. You get what you ask for.:tu:

Maybe Brett didn't get the memo that sexting was strictly for teens.

sorry gmmat, but it is old, the media just took a month or two to glom onto it and turn it into the biggest nfl scandal since the kobe rape accusation... basically, the way i see it, nothing terribly exciting is happening in the sports world right now, so they dredge up two month old news to get some headlines...

WHAT!? MLB playoffs, heart of the college football schedule, NFL, NBA about to kick off with constant preseason coverage of the Heat, NHL in full swing...this is the busiest time in sports of the entire year. Nothing happening in sports...hahahaha. C'mon dude.

Farve has been in the media spotlight as much or more than any other athlete the past few years. Mostly his own doing. This isn't old news...the information is just finally becoming available. I personally don't care if he was donging, but I understand what today's media does and this is definitely "news", by their standards.

but there are no "stories" ya know?? just games... off field drama is what makes headlines... why haven't we heard about the colts kicker that got drunk and decided it was a good idea to take a swim in the river the other day?? without the favre drama it would be reported on, without question and the ensuing "did he get punished enough, have they gone to far" 'scandal' for the colts and the nfl...

the news broke almost two months ago, its old, the media has just had other "important" stuff going on...

Well, obviously, at least 2 of us HAVE heard about it.

When his mom or wife goes on national TV and starts citing Bible verses about it (and the league starts investigating him for league violations), I'll make a post on that, too.
