    LOL

No weapons? Demetrius Thomas? Decker? Peyton made freaking Pierre Garcon and that other white guy on Indy look awesome. And Indy never had a defense with Peyton. EVER. Denver has a solid defense.

You have a calling in stand-up.

And you're basing your opinion on one game. Do you know anything else about him? Ask anyone in Packer Nation who has watched him in preseason games and training and you'll know why everyone would have been comfortable with him taking over the stating position if Rogers went down.

    Yeah, he's good.

Laugh all you want.. and you call those weapons? Does denver have a reggie wayne? Dallas Clark?

Indy created the Defense to fit with Peytons game. So of course they look awful now that he's not there. Denvers running game last year helped the defense a lot by staying on field giving them time to catch to breathe. Manning isn't going to turn them into super bowl team. Steelers, Patriots, Ravens and Texans are still in the way.

Manning is going to have "Bounty Gate" all year on his neck.

$$$$ for every shot to Manning's neck.

Do you????? People can say whatever they want but we will just have to wait until the season to see who's right.

Peyton is one of the best regular season QBs to play game but they signed him to win super bowl and thats what I will judge him on and so far in his career he hasn't been best postseason QB. Thats the football I watch.

Reggie Wayne is old and on his way out of the league. I'm sure Peyton can find another Dallas Clark clone. Peyton made those guys better than they are.

100% agree .... playoff choker for sure ... but rest assured, they will win a boatload of regular season games if he is back to normal ...

Well now he is but he was also a pretty talented receiver. Don't forget about Harrison either. But yes I agree he made them better. Thats what good QBs do.

Tony--- Yes you are absolutely right. Thats why I'm not going to be a believer until postseason.

I hate Skip Bayless with a passion...but he had a point last year. Denvers number one option was Decker.... Put Decker on ANY other team in the nation, and he is the number 2 option at best.

Delusional to think Denver has a lot of offensive weapons at Tebows (Er...Peytons) disposal. It's also delusional to think if Peyton is back to being Peyton he even needs weapons to succeed. Dude is scary accurate and even bad receivers can catch balls that hit them in the face/numbers.

J, I would take Eli over Payton ANY day ... now if you could have Payton play the regular season and Eli to play the playoffs ... you would have .....well you would have Joe Montana :)

From what I heard and understand the neck really isn't that much of a concern as far as injury. Linebackers have had the same surgery and played without worry about permanent damage or reinjuring it. It's more the tricep and the strength in his arm. Could be wrong, it happens on rare occasion, but I remember hearing that several times.

p.s. some of these comments about Tebow, Manning and Flynn I can't bring myself to respond to. Not enough copy and paste bandwith and I'm trying to turn over a new leaf. But...... WOW!

    Now, THAT....is actually funny.

I'm not sold on Peyton yet. I really like him and respect the way he works, but if the nerve damage was what they say it was, I'm still not a believer until he stays upright for 16 games and puts up some marginal numbers at a minimum.

As far as Tebow, this was the only way Denver was gonna be able to get rid of him. I'll root for him to succeed in whatever he does.

I'm not saying the guy Isn't any good but I'm surprised with all the hype over Flynn on this board. Peyton didn't have talented receivers? Wow! Yes he made some look great but come on already. Denver had offensive weapons? Now that's funny. Trevor summed that up well.
