Thanks Caleb. LOL OKbowhunter, when I hung him there I though, you know what, somebody will say something about the Keystone Light dividers. Thanks man. Thanks Scott, and a vermin standing on the fridge. ;-) Aaron, really? Cool and thanks. I like Mr. Halloween. He's a Rob buck. :p Thanks and thanks Sparrowhawk. Thanks Germ, at least 10.5. You know what's amazing though. The 2.5 year old IL buck is so much larger head, neck than the 3.5 year old PA buck. Buck Magnet, the pics really never showed that and to be honest, I didn't remember that either. I just kept remembering his odd side. When I was in the taxi shop, I didn't recognize him until the odd side struck me. Wow I thought LOL. bloodcrik, show her the pic and say, " I told you so! " and see how that goes over. ;-) :D Thanks twin. Vito, thank you and thank you. I love it here. MGH, Laylon Taxidermy in Montoursville. He's fantastic and really prides himself on turkeys as well. He does a phenomenal job and isn't as expensive as most. He's full time and enjoys his job. It shows. Great guy too. Thanks man. Get down here and take a look. Where'd you take yours? rbhunting1, lol Thanks man. That's Axel by the way. A Wire Hair.... he's my boy! wags, come on up buddy. WVHunter, thanks so much. Matt, the wife said the same thing. I'll get some more done over the winter. That's two mounts down there, my 07 and my IL. That's 7 whitetail mounts, an elk, a bear, coyote, 4 gobblers and a pronghorn waiting to come home. :D Ben, thanks, you'll see them soon enough. Sliverflicker, thanks again. jackflap, thank you. And thank you on the stairway. I appreciate that. And as far as Axel goes. He's my boy. He was bought as a tracker and for a pet. Tracking is still not legal here in PA but there is a bill trying to get it done. HB420. Let's just say he is trained but I haven't had him practiced in a very long time. I have frozen blood in the freezer to lay artificial lines. Hopefully soon. rybo, My wife laughed at Ax in the picture too. Surprising he makes in quite a few. He seems to stay out in front of me and also, he was protective of the deer mounts. He assumes they are his since that's how he's trained. Thanks my friend.
Very cool. Congrats again Rob. Always love seeing the inside or outside of your home. Always very cool.
i might have to take a trip out to see that! what a beautiful place! and great bucks too! maybe you can teach me to shoot like tony :D :D i kid i kid!
His place is awesome. Definitely made me even more sure I want a log home for my next place. Rob, I took mine to a guy named Don Transeau (sp?) in Mosquito Valley. He's a small operation, and like I said, he tans his own hides, too, so turn around times are pretty quick. He did three mounts that are in my dad's house, and they're great. I might just have to make it down there. I have a new toy coming that I may need some assistance with.
Thanks Steve. I'm actually looking forward to working on the man cave over the winter. dm (Mike). Thanks bud. Your welcome anytime but why the hell would you want to hunt PA! :D Live2Draw, come on out. Thank you. MGH, thanks again and thanks for the info. When you ready for bow work, give me a shout. Isaiah, lol. Just wait, more pictures of the man cave to come over winter. If it turns out like it does in my head all I can say is WOW. ;-)
I think you should line the Rob bucks up from first to last and take a photo of them all together and post it up!
