Got my four in the mail the other day. Giving one to my dad but in doing this it frees up my red 40 or mp6 so I still win. Can't wait to get these out. Might wait until spring to do so though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I know I should! I will have to take my girlfriend snowshoeing to some new camera locations Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
yep! plus starting to warm up here in Wisconsin. (but looking at the predicted snow falls for Sunday! eekkk)
Yeah some heat wave we are having!! Getting right up near the freezing mark LOL! Looks like it is going to be another rough winter on the critters with all the snow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
How do you guys use the strap for the mpe5? Do you just let it hang down? I know... Weird question. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Usually wrap it around the camera once or twice and use it to angle the camera slightly up by tucking it under the camera.
I do the same as jake, wrap around the tree if possible to use up the excess strap and then clip and tuck behind clip if there is some left. On our lease, cattle like to chew and pull on the strap if it is left hanging...
set one mpe5 on my birdfeeder. should make for some cool pictures. i will post a few up when I check it in a few days.
I did the same thing this summer ^^^ while camping at my parents cabin and got multiple hummingbird videos.
Thats kind of what I am worried about! I was surprised at how long the straps are for these cameras - I am excited to get them in the field.
ya strap seems long, but wait till you want to put the camera on a big ol' tree haha. (Or ditch the strap and run a stic n pic)
I can't stand straps myself. All my cams have mounts with the exception of one and it will be changed out soon.
I love my mp-e5 I have 6 of them lol I guess I have a addiction and is $85 shipped a good price for a Moultrie d-444
