I am going to add a few cameras for the upcoming year as Christmas presents from others and myself of course. Red 40 or two and a black flash.

I know the big difference between the two and have been really happy with the coverts i am already running. I know im going to add a black flash covert To the stable due to some prick reseting the card on a camera a while back and will be using this camera to help catch someone messing with my stuff, hate to spend extra money but gonna get a few pythin locks too for the cameras they are not in secluded areas.

I dont use video so im leaning towards the mp6 but then again if i could find both camera on sale this time of year i might would be tempted to try the black 60.

Any thoughts or opinions would appreciated.

Your cheapest and smallest option would be the mp6black. Best price is here for the Coverts as of now.=>Covert Trail Cameras | DLC Covert Scouting Cameras | Trail Cams | Seed N Feed Trail Cams
Or check Wingsupply if they have a black Friday sale/ I will post something if I come across a better deal then ^.
Wingsupply has the black60 for around 150$ shipped with coupon code "dhnet"

But if you are using the camera to monitor another camera, I think the mp6black would do fine. it is smaller the the black60, not by much but smaller. I would hide it up in the same tree as the camera is on perhaps.

Mp6black on video isnt too bad. See some of my older posts. If you have the camera with in 15 feet of where the ''subject'' is it does great.

Black60 would do the job too just fine, but depends on your budget. I say mp6black is perfect for security purposes.(I also use a black60 for security purposes).

forgot to add: if you are running the camera for security, I would set it up to take 3 pictures every 5 seconds. I never ran my camera on "0 second" delay as it takes a little while to write to the card.
Or video I would run a 10-15 second video with a interval of 25-30 seconds to give the batteries time to catch up between triggers.

Need anything else let us know, and keep us updated on what you end up getting.
