So I received 2 MP-E5s for Xmas and had them out for a month... When I pulled the card I noticed that the red numbers did not light up. I swapped cards and tried turning it back on, nothing lights up. I left it in the on position, closed it, waited a minute and walked by a few times. I pulled the card and threw it in my digital camera I brought with and it showed 0 pictures.

I brought it home, switched batteries, and the same thing happens. The red light blinks a few times when I turn it to on, but then nothing.

    Any suggestions?

Sd card locked. Also did you format the card in the cam and is the card new.

Try letting it sit without batteries, then put a card in and format it. Do you have another card to try as well?

    The cards are not locked.

The card I tried to swap in is brand new.

The old card in the cam is showing the same problem. Red light will blink repeatedly on set up/on more for each SD card I have tried. I tried formatting the new SD card and get the same error.

    Brand new batteries.

I bought the card today and the mp-e5 was the first thing I put it into.
