We have a problem. We planted clover in a 2.5 acre spot. The clover grows early in spring but then gets choked out when the grasses grow up a couple feet. I know that mowing the grasses down would give the clove more light and would grow a lot better but this 2.5 acre spot is kind of like an island. When the spring comes the area around this spot gets flooded and there is no way to get a pull behind mower in there. Does someone have a solution to this problem. We were thinking about trying to find a push mower and putting bigger wheels on it then leaving it back there with a tarp covering it from the elements. Seems kind of dangerous though with the blade up so high. Is there some equipment that we could rent? Suggestions would be appreciated.
