Hello all I am new to the site, a friend of mine at work told me about it. Iv been reading for a couple of days now and I am impressed alot of good information here! Maybe yall can help me out! I am moving from a deer lease in west Texas(west of Hondo) to a deer lease in east Texas(Woodville area) and was wondering if there was any useful information you have that I might need? Like rut times, calling, rattling, good times to hunt etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I dont really do much rifle hunting but my son is 5 so over the next few years I will be doing more of it, but for now I am only bowhunting. I konw the hunting style will have to cange going from west texas country to the piney woods so Im just looking for a few pointers! If this topic belongs in a different area please let me know!
