    I can't remember the specific scene, or which movie it was exactly, but I recall being quite frightened when I watched one of the Ewoks movies as a kid.

    I also remember the Hoth Wampa scaring the crap out of me as a youngster.

    Nope got nothing that weirded me out enough to haunt me as a kid. You guy's are a bunch of Sally's especially the clown guy's.

    There was a scene from some movie... I forgot what it was, kid was fishing at night, foggy, on the ocean pulling up fishing lines a hauls up a body.

    When I was really little I hated E.T. and the spinning wheel on Sleeping beauty used to freak me out as well as the thing in the mirror on Snow white. I've never been into scary movies and still don't watch them. Give me action or comedy any day.

    I forgot about Jaws. The eye-ball scene has to be one of if not THE best horror scene of all time...

    my older cousins took me to see it in the theatre without anyone's 'permission.' I had no idea what I was in store for, but thought it was cool to go to a movie my parents would never approve of at the time. I would have been in 5th grade in 1975 so i was 10 years old. it scared me to the core. I remember hiding behind the seats in the floor peeking over in the theatre.

    I too still have trouble swimming in fresh water lakes and even creeks that are not clear or where I can't see the bottom, even though it is a ridiculous notion. it's purely psychological...

    Swimming in the ocean is another matter all together. you are no longer top dog in the ocean; there are things that will bite you, sting you, and otherwise kill or maim you in the ocean.

    I have several OMFG moments in salt water with big, dangerous creatures that I won't elaborate on, but I am ultra vigilant in the ocean even though it wouldn't do much good if you are on the hit list that day...

    Gotta love swimming in Lake Tenkiller, when all of the something something bites you! For that split second I get nervous. Then I realize it was just a Brim.:)
