Im wanting to get out tonight real bad and have a great spot to hunt for the wind that we have today, but the wind is gusting up to 25mph. The bucks are chasing does hard in my area and i think it will be a good sit im just worried that they wont move with that much wind. What do you think bowhunting family good to go or no?
Get out there, i dont think a little wind will deter a rutting buck from looking for love, or a fight for that matter. Good luck
Where in Indiana are you? I'm NE and it's pretty breezy but I'm in the tree right now. My bigger issue is I wish it were 10 degrees cooler, but the old adage is still true, you're more likely to kill the buck of your dreams in the field in the worst weather than from your couch on the nicest day.
