Great looking bike Rick! The pic's always look so much better when the bike is sitting in your own driveway! BTW, I don't have much experience with the touring bikes and was wondering what air pressure you run in your shocks? I had the lowering shocks installed on the GF's bike due to her being vertically challenged and am trying to get the right amount of air in the shocks. I think I have them at 20 lbs. Does that sound right or am I off?
15 lbs is what I carry. For a solo rider they recomemend 10-20 lbs. With two riders they say 40-50 lbs. I have never put anywhere near that in mine useually opting to keep 15 in there as my wife is only 110 lbs but they also say a solo rider with 40 lbs of baggage should run 20-30 lbs.
Looks fantastic Rick and I bet she sounds as good too. Hey, I'm not the only one recommending Shout, I didn't make it up so I tried it yesterday when I polished her up. I sprayed her down, waiting a few seconds and hosed her off and she shined like new. Gorgeous with NO wiping. I then shammied her dry. Perfect. No cause for alarm, it does not hurt the finish nor the paint. But it doesn't bother me one way or another what someone else wants to clean their bike with.
Very nice bike Rick, love the color scheme! Now where are we gonna see pics of David riding on the back while you guys drag a half dozen of Len's deer outta the woods? :d :d :d :d
