Move over Dad, theres a new whitetail hunter in the Pottenger home!

    Thanks everyone! Hey Button (Dave) .. Yeah, it was 7 total days spread over two weeks.. counting the field day, 3 hours per session.

    Jess is pretty pumped, he can hunt upland game birds in Idaho including Turkeys from 10-12. Once he turns 12 he can hunt deer/everything in Idaho... But he gets to jump the border here in WA state and hunt whitetails next fall! We are 100% going to do that, and the out of state youth license is very reasonable for deer over there. I work 3 miles from the border... So we should be able to find him a deer after work next fall.. :)

    He is going to take Bowhunters safety later this spring! He can bowhunt WA for deer too... starting next fall!

    Will be looking forward to seeing Jess and you behined some of his animals. My daughter is only 2 yrs old and I already think about it.
