Wow that's definitely an awesome score! I think I agree with selling them. I would rather have the $, to go on a nice hunt or trip or whatever else, than trophies that have no personal meaning hung up in my house or cabin. Great find!
That is pretty sweet. It will look really good in there. You could always sell them as you get your own to replace them.
Thats Awesome! I think I would sell all of them and save up for a hunt or just save the money for taxidermy on my own animals in the future
If your landlord was throwing them away... Did one of his other tenets leave em there or what? Tryin to wrap my head about throwin em out. Sent from iPhone
So my plan for now is to hang on to them simply because if I sell I know they won't be funding anything hunting related this year. I love the moose mounts because of where I live in New England. I will hold onto those until I can draw a moose tag. I'll definitely try to sell some of the others. The elk, buffalo, deer, and caribou will go on the market at some point but I'm going to be patient and try to get the most I possibly can out of them. I can't travel on a hunt in 2013 but my plan is to try and draw an Elk or Mule deer tag for Wyoming in 2014. If that doesn't happen ill be heading to Kansas so ill need funding for one of those tags. I am starting to look for houses with my fiancé. All my trophies will go in my cave there. This was an easy way to outfit my cabin with some sweet mounts. Hopefully someday the trophies in my house have to spill over to the cabin. In terms of my land lord throwing them out, he had no attachment to them. He had them in a man room in his house as decoration. His house is huge and it is now him and two of kids. He decided to rent out half of it so he no longer had a place for them. Finances aren't an issue with him so he didn't want to take the time to sell them.
