Mounting sights

    Sightshave 2 pair of mounting holes,is it better to mount them closer to the bow or futher out front?:confused:
    Like I have said before I am new to all this. Way more intense than it used to be.

    I use the rear-most holes in the sight, which allows it to stick out further as you alluded to. In theory, this will gain you a tad better accuracy as it separates your peep from your front aiming point.

    It's the reason target archers use long sight bars for their sights... think of a comparison between a rifle and a pistol. All things being equal, it's a big factor in the accuracy levels a rifle has over a pistol.

    That is what I was thinking. Just wanted to check and see if that was the right line of thought.

    Yup, mount it as far forward as the bracket will allow. :)
