Finished up pulling cards and hanging stands a couple of hours ago and came across these. At first glance I thought I had two doe's in the field. Upon further review, the tail on the critter in the distance is very long. My cropping skills suck, I opened the pics in paint for a larger pic and in my eyes it confirms a lion. I assume the doe thought it was a deer as well. What do you boys think? If anyone can crop the pic better than I please have at it.

Looks like a coyote to me. Could be a lion though.

They dont normally hang out in fields in broad daylight. I think someone is playing a prank here

pretty sure it would have captured their picture as well, unless they turned it off then back on, which would be evident IMO.

No doubt in my mind that its a mountain lion. But I do find it odd that its in a field in daylight, but I still believe it to be a mountain lion

I'm going to second the prank. If you look at the deer during movement the body clearly moves. However from both the photos. The second animal doesn't move. The tail is in the same position, the distance from the tail to the rear feet doesn't change and the head turn doesn't change...

Looks legit,if you remember not the first cat someone could not afford to feed or maintain there fenced area. Better show it to local law enforcement.

Could it be another deer with a weed or something behind it?

It's another deer I don't think that is a tail rather something else in the background that is just in the right spot

What you need to do Mike is find a few other pictures and compare them side by side and see if its a weed or something.

looks like it to me. The legs look to big to be a deer with a weed hanging out of its butt.

You can tell that deer is on the move. Maybe the mountain lion got its fawn and it is running around in circles is my guess.

No way a deer walks in an open field with a mountain lion that visible.

I don't think that's a lion. The ears look too big and the face is more elongated than a lions. But it could be
