Our DNR tried telling us there were not any mountain lions in our county. I think I just proved them wrong!

I think that's a bobcat or lynx... not a lion....

Way to small for a mountain lion, looks like a bobcat.

Are you sure, I've had several people tell me it was a mountain lion because it didn't have the right markings to be a bobcat, but they could be wrong. I did have a picture of a bobcat earlier this year but it was at night so I couldn't see any markings on it to compare it to this one, but this looks a lot bigger than that bobcat. Thanks for the correction if I'm wrong

If you have pictures of deer at the same cam site post them for size comparison, but unless you have some abnormally large vegetation I'm almost 100% it is a bobcat.

Here's a pic for size comparison. After looking closer at it I'm agreeing with everyone else and saying that it is a bobcat. Thanks for correcting me.

I agree with Fitz... we have been getting alot of pictures of Mountain Lions up here in the U.P. of Michigan... they're huge and there is no mistaken them.

Bobcat. Don't believe the DNR about lions though. They swear they aren't around here in WV but I've seen multiple recent pictures of them in the Richlands area. The bow shop in Summersville has pictures on the wall. My buddy in Brevard, NC just got pics of a black panther on his dads trailcam.

A very healthy bobcat for sure. The ears are a dead giveaway. Thanks for sharing!

I know they're around our area too cause there has been multiple reports of them within a 10 mile radius of us. This is why I kinda thought this was one but I'm kinda glad it isn't now. That's the last thing I want to walk up on when I'm goin to my treestand.
