Moultrie Trace External Battery

    For those that use a external battery does it show anything on the LCD screen that a external is in use? I'm not sure if my barrel connector is making contact.

    Yes it does, it says EXTERNAL or something like that

    Thanks. Sounds like I may have to try a different cable.

    Something else I just noticed and both of my Trace cams are doing it. When armed and starts counting down from 30 seconds before triggering when it gets to 3 seconds it comes up on the LCD display "002days". Is that normal?
