Rogers Sporting Goods has them on sale for $79.99

Moultrie M-880 Gen2 Mini Game Camera - Rogers Sporting Goods

I have heard some some negative reviews about this camera but I think I am going to take a chance at that price.

I don't have any experience with the gen 2 but I have the two previous versions and they are both okay. The best one was actually the oldest model but the gen 2 may be better than the mid model. Still at $80, I'd take them.

Didn't have luck with the 880 I have. Quit taking night pictures all together. I'd recommend the StealthCam G30 at $89 over the Moultrie.

Big difference in the Gen 2 and the older models.

Cheap double A's last a year with no video. New programming is faster and easier. Smaller. Bigger latches are easier to get in and close with gloves on. I think my pics have better quality. Trigger seems better.

Oh yeah I saw those pics of yours, didn't realize it was from a gen 2 m-880. They look a lot better than my 2014 model versions. The 2014's always have the edges of the pics out of focus, drives me crazy.

Mine is Gen 2 990 I. I have an M-880 C, but it is not Gen 2. Just was commenting that the Gen 2 cameras seem better to me than the past cameras.
