I paid $170 per unit (Non-viewer version). Included shipping. No tax.... I am not sure what I paid for the M-80s when they first came out. For some reason $120 is stuck in my head.

Sounds like a good deal. Funny thing to me, is that Bushnell had the same type of reputation before they came out w. the Trophy Cam Line. Their previous attempts in the trail cam market met w. failure.

This is turning in to a ford vs chevy argument...
.I'm with DLC coverts by the way. Love them! I also know folks that do not.

I've never tried a Covert, but the "Special Ops" sounds interesting. It will send the pics directly to your phone or email, and you only have to add another line to your current cell plan. That is a way better idea then what the theother companies are doing w. their instant notification plans.

Honestly I'm just kinda scared to hang something out in the woods that costs more than $100. If I put a $250 trail cam out and it disappeared, I'd be pretty pissed at myself for putting it out there.

was wondering why they female cam mount thread is differnt then any mount known to man? I had to weld a adaptor togather to use my tree angle mount with it,,, there strap sucks.

Like my orig post,I see so many deer and turkeys stand in front of my m80 cams that i dont get pics of so i am not sold on buying anymore of there products.

After using my ltl acorn cams this year there is just no going back to the moultrie world.

    There is no question. ;)

Why would you buy a camera, put it out and wonder if you got lucky and got a good one out of the box? Yeah, that makes sense. :lmao::poke:

There is no line of cameras that doesnt have a BAD camera in there. SO if he decides to buy one, and it works, great! Your golden. If not, return it and buy something else, its like that with almost everything, not everything is failproof..

It seems like to you this debate is more between the two of us personally versus the actual camera, which is a bit ridiculous. So il leave it at that.

Believe me, if you look back at any threads about Moultrie cameras that I have posted in, you will find I have the same comments in them. Don't get your hopes up that this is something personal. Believe me, I have better things to do than stalk an 18 year old kid on the internet.

BTW, I'm still amazed you don't understand the battery issue.

I ran 3 of them throughout the summer and into December. They all performed flawlessly and had excellent battery life.

Videos were great and the day time pics were amazing. Yes the night shots got a bit blurry if the subject was moving quickly, but I just tried to angle them towards where I thought the deer would come from.
