I know a lot of guys are looking for a reliable, GOOD camera for a price that wont thin out your wallet. Well ive ran through tons of different companies like cuddeback, primos, stealth cam and none of them IMO compete against moultrie (atleast the models that i have). If anyone is looking for a solid camera, look at this one. 012.jpg 045.jpg 032.jpg 006.jpg 005.jpg

I guess with the blurry pics the solid cam title is sarcasm right?.. funny i like it.

sorry i was sure you were making a solid reference to the blurr maybe the tree was shaking. I have two of these cams but they dont seem to have blurring pics just way to much ir flash and spook deer i have been adding colored film over the lights trying to tone down the ir flash.alot best cam moultrie has made to date.

I have 3 of these, and am happy with their performance. They take great day pics, have tons of IR flash for picking up deer way out there, and if the deer is not moving they have great night pics. The only draw back I have found is that if the deer is moving, there's a lot of blur because the IR on this camera lasts longer than other cams. Still really like the camera though.

I heard they discontinued them. Glad your happy but they are equally as many if not more that are unhappy. :sheep:

Run the cam in video mode i think it has better trigger speed for some reason, i use mine with 10 sec clips and it takes a pic along with the video more chance of picking up the other deer following the leader. battery life will suffer but cam still is easy on them. If they would go to a black or low glow ir's they might pull them self's out of the hole the dug themselves in with there other cams.

I bought 2 over Thanksgiving weekend. They were on sale for 99 a piece. I like them well so far. We'll see what happens when it gets really cold though.

My BIL brought one to Canada to use this fall. After 5 days the batteries were dead. He brought it back as soon as he got home.

I have not tried that model, but I have 4 Moultries that I bought 2 years ago. They are all sitting on my work bench next to my Cudde Backs, and I did not even bother putting them out this year. I have not been impressed with either.I have had alot of luck with DLC Coverts and I used a Stealth Prowler this year. I really liked the audio on the videos alot on the Prowler.

Not sure what's wrong with that camera. I have ran mine on standard duracells and have gotten a couple months at least of them. I have ran w. Energizer Ultimate Lithium, and got thousands of pictures. If he is using the Plot watercher mode, then yes. It will burn through batteries, but the camera is taking over a thousand pictures a day in that mode.

In my opinion, this is better than any other camera Moultrie has ever made.

Couldnt agree more. About the battery life, one set of lithium energizers lasted me over 2000 pictures using the standard trail cam mode. One set of batteries could easily fill up a 2 gig card with the highest resolution.

Nope, it was set up over food. 600 pictures and it was dead. Johnny has had a few of them and one of them had the same problem. Another dude I know has one and had the same problem as well.

Lasted 2000 pictures on a set of Lithium? Then they died? From a set of lithium batteries in a camera like that you should get 50,000 pictures, or more.

Have you used many trail cameras?
