Like the overall design of the M-100 camera although the trigger speed is slow. What I don't like is that the camera has failed after one season. I put new batteries in the M-100 and nothing will wake up the camera. My second M-100 works fine. Guess it is a common issue that I have read about on other forums. If there are any secrets to waking up the camera let me know. Otherwise you may want to invest in another brand.
Not sure about the detection circuit on these cameras either. I had deer walk right in front of the camera while I was watching from my stand. No pictures of the deer or the coyote that was following shortly after. Think it is time to upgrade.
Different model, but I got a Moultrie M-80XT about 6 weeks ago. Bad pictures when the thing did actually get triggered. I watched a fawn walk right in front of the camera first day of the season. Pulled the card later to check; no pictures of the fawn. Going to return it for a different brand.
Good idea on the return. Nothing like first hand visual to see that pictures are not being taken. Bad info is worse than no info.
I have my 3rd m80xt die the other day, slow to no pics, blurry pics sometimes they run a month or just after you set them.I have watch deer and turkey stand in front of these cams and they miss the pics If the postman would only deliver them like i want them to....with a rock tied around them right thru there front window.
Have you contacted moultrie? I had an issue with a very old D55ir or something like that. They took care of it immediately no questions asked.
You try the hard reset by removing batteries and there is a reset button a few inches inside. Puch it and reinstall the batteries. hate to hear these issues with the moultrie line. have numerous M80s and so far nop issues????
Did they ask for a sales recipet or anything to get it fixed? I've got an M-80 thats a year old and it quit on me back in July. Its been sitting indoors and I've done nothing about. Since I no longer have the recipet i figured I was out of luck.
I fixed my previously mentioned m80 that quit working. It turns out there is a "hard reset" button inside the battery compartment. I pushed it once with no batteries in and power switch in the on position. She fired up perfect!
