Well, I saw that Greg had mentioned that I had problems with my Moultrie I60 as some of you guys were considering purchasing it. Well, I decided that I should post the pics for everybody to see. This camera was just about two weeks old when it started this. Even when the picture quality was better the unit still took gray scale photos throughout the day when they should have been color photos. I am going to post a grayscale and a color photo that the unit took for comparrison.

This photo is the grayscale and was the most disappointing to me as I can see the bases of antlers on the top of this bucks head, but I can't tell anything about the buck. At first glance I thought it was a big buck, but after looking the photo over, I just can't tell.

And this is the color photo. Yet again, another buck, I can atleast tell that it is a small 8 point, but as you can see, the colors are screwed up and very grainy.

Saturday I am heading to Cabelas and getting my Reconyx RC60 so I will be sure to post photos and a detailed report on it.

Did you happen to contact Moultrie at all about this problem? From what I've heard their customer service has been pretty good and they've stood by their products if there's a legit problem, which their appears to be.

I picked up an I40 two weeks ago and so far, so good. It's taking color photos during the day and IR at night just like it should, and the quality is excellent. No bucks on cam yet, but that's not exactly the camera's fault.

Good luck with the Reconyx when you get it. Wish I could afford to pick one up, but wedding duty calls. :mad1:
