Anybody using the Moultrie Game Spy Game Management System? Sounds cool but not sure it's worth the cost or how well it works. Anybody have any experience with it?
$30 a month is pretty expensive, especially when you can get internet access for your computer for this price. If they could lower that cost in half, they would get a lot more customers I believe.
I agree the subscription service is pricey, but they have a new pay-as-you-go system where you pay for the months you use and that's it. That said, I'm still not buying it until the price comes down more.
I guess that it would depend on how much it costs on the pay-as-you-go system. If they charge by the amount of data that is sent would be a major consideration. If you had a camera over a mineral site that got 200-300 pictures a week, that could get pricey.
Yeah, it's not even a flat $30 a month. Tracker - $39.99 - 30 Days or 200 medium resolution pictures* Hunter - $49.99 - 30 Days or 400 medium resolution pictures* Season Pass - $34.99/month for 4 months, $44.99/month for 4 months - Four (4) consecutive months of either Tracker or Hunter plan. *Note: Month ends after 30 days OR data is full, whichever comes first. I have to imagine some of you guys would have 200 photos in a couple weeks.
I say we rig up the entire woods with cameras so that we don't have to do much of anything. Just sit at home like a robot and wait for the right signal to come through our computer before moving in for the kill.
But first you have to buy their gps came spy connect for $155. How would you like to get all that stolen?
200-300 Pics is about 2 days at a couple of my spots No thanks ! Going and checking them is half the fun any how :D
It'd be worth it if I could set it up to view from say another state or section of Alaska and then fly in when a bear starts using one of my spots, especially with flights as expensive as they are. I could also set it up on the south end of the island to watch for the reindeer to move into an area before dropping $2000 to fly down and hope we can find them... Now we're going to start seeing these things all over Alaska! Next it'll be the Mars Rover.
