My buddy and I had 3 cameras out for half hunting season this year. We would check my Moultrie and it would consistently have 5-600 pictures on it every 2 weeks that they would be checked. The Leupold would only have a couple pictures. We chalked it up to having no deer walking through where ever we would have it set.

We decided to set the cameras up on the same tree with one right above the other for 7 days. We checked them on Sunday and my Moultrie had 265 pictures (110 with Deer and 6 of coyotes, the thing is super sensitive and picks up a fart in the wind I think) Now the Leupold had 3 pictures. That's it. The odd thing is the 3 pictures were a 3 shot burst and my camera didn't pick those deer up haha.

So what gives? Is this a known issue with this Leupold? Is it a junk camera? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Matt

They haven't had very good reviews, mine had issues from day one and Leupold made good on it.

yea its weird, the pictures that it does take, half of them have a red tint to them. I have looked for a software update on the camera, but I cannot seem to find one.

I have never read one positive review on a Leupold game camera. I'm sure they are not manufacturing them but rather buying from some company in China, where most cameras are made. From a business point of view, I don't think I would've attached my good name to it.
