I can SO relate to that statement... I had a Honda V-65 Magna in college (at the time, the quickest motorcycle in the world), and I sold it because I got to the point where I wasn't scared of it. It's NOT good to not be scared of a bike that'll do 0-60 in 2.3 seconds. My next bike was a Yamaha FZR (crotch rocket for those who love the term), and I did some crazy stuff on that.. I really miss that bike every time I hear someone banging through the gears on the highway at redline.
I had a Honda VFR Interceptor 800. I also became not afraid of it and that scared me. Luckily when I did lay it down I was only going 15 mph. Iowa side streets suck and have gravel and potholes everywhere. Lol. It sure was alot of fun and easier on the wallet then my silverado at the pumps!
I went to the Tour de France type bicyle races in Atlanta a couple years ago. It was team racing. As a preliminary entertainment thing they had a Porche race a motor cylce around the Atlanta road track. They were both flat out and became a little airborned at times going over hills and stuff. Those guys could really drive. It was far better than the bike races. LOL
Some serious tire wear there. I can't relate to all that speed and torque on two wheels, I ride a Harley
i have that same bike in the video, minus the stretched swingarm. For the enthusiast here if you have never done a track day, you're missing out.
