I was at my property today coyote hunting when I kept hearing these crashing noises coming from the direction of the creek. I finally made my way down there to find the source. The crashes were actually ice falling into the creek. The creek had frozen ove and then the water level dropped several inches, leaving the ice suspended. I guess it was getting weak and crashing into the water.

It also left some beautiful looking formations and crystals. The pictures really don't do it justice. Enjoy :)

    Great pictures jmbuck.
Several years back we lived on a lake in northern Michigan. Ice out was wild, the moans and screams were like something out of a monster movie.

That creek is absolutely beautiful, even when it's not frozen. But man........that is gorgeous!
