First off let me say that living in western PA we don't see a lot of big deer around here. So when I say it was amazing, it was amazing. There were 22 deer out in a cut cornfield with 5 being bucks. The amazing part was that one was a 160" deer called "Bullwinkle". About 10 yards to his left was a 130" buck that we have never seen before. 290" of horn within 10 yards=amazing. Both still hadn't shed yet. Lets just say that I am pumped for next year.
Nice buck!!!! An trust me I know what your sayin bout big deer don't come around all to often, we had one decently big 10 but unfortunately he didn't make it =[
It is a picked cornfield and the picker didn't do a good job so there is corn everywhere. With it being so cold the deer are pounding it.
