Hey guys. With the Minnesota bow opener only 6 days away, I'm in need of some help. The mosquitoes are unbelievably bad. I do have a thermacell, but was wondering if anyone uses anything else? Like netting or other stuff?

The new Rhino Skin says is mosquito and tick proof.

I bought a couple more of sets of the new stuff but haven't tried it yet.

I don't go in my FL woods with out Rhino Skin.

Treat your clothing with Sawyer's Permethrin and then use a Thermacell. I always wear a facemask that has been treated as well.

I bought a thermacell, but I don't know where to set it while I'm in my stand. I don't have a holder for it.

It does not matter as long as the fumes can float with the wind around you. I typically carry a couple of zip ties and strap it to the arm rest of my climber. In a ground blind, I just set it on the ground where I will not step on it.

Like everybody has suggested, just using a thermacell is enough. NEVER miss a day of season due to skeeters. The season is too short as it is.
