    I would prefer to harvest one in AM for recovery reasons, but I have always shot more deer in afternoon.

    Although I enjoy morning hunts the most (the quiet calm setting), I have better luck in the evening. Every spot is different. I hunt a piece of private land that gets more action around 12pm-3pm. It's surrounded by fields and the deer seem to stroll around those woods in the afternoon. Good luck this year!

    Just due to work and getting off at 7am the majority of my hunts will be in the afternoon. I like hunting the mornings but I need to make sure I get enough sleep the night before other wise I'll be napping in the stand lol
