I read an article about using morning glory for browse for deer. Of course I can't find that article again now though. Just wondered if anyone else had tried that. I do remember it said the protein content was between 9 and 14% depending on variety of plant.
I'm thinking about planting a section at edge of woods near one of my plots and stands. Any ideas or info from anyone?

not what I was anticipating. Having just had breakfast; I am sort of thankful for that.

a quick google of garden tips indicates that morning glories are known to attract and be destroyed by deer on a somewhat regular basis. Also per 100gr, MG leaves have 2.5gr of protein plus a lot of minerals and other nutrients.
