    Round 4 - Went today against my better judgment. Leg hurts like heck right now, but we harvested these.

    How big do morels generally get?? I have never found one here in MN but a Facebook friend that lives around me found about 10 of them that are as big or bigger than a 12oz pop can... Seems big to me!

    HOLY FUNGUS BATMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    LOL, that this is unbelievably huge. I have found maybe one that was a foot tall and the size of a pop can, most of what I find are 4-5" tall maybe.

    in general, they will continue to grow larger as long as conditions are favorable - moisture & mild temps until they run their cycle, spore/blast and disintegrate. they can get quite large under ideal conditions as that pic shows...
