Ya'll have created a monster, I'll tell ya that. This is just plain ole fun! This is a pretty good story, too. I don't know how I get myself into these situations, but I do. I called my buddy and told him we are going bowfishing. He's never been, but he's going anyway. So he charges up the battery and away we go. Well, we were upstream quite a ways and on the way back down, the trolling motor battery died. Oh, did I mention we were in a 2 seater bass buggy and that was the only motor we have?? Paddles you say?? Who needs stinking paddles, we have a trolling motor, right? Luckily, this creek runs behind my parent's house so when the battery died........we just made the half mile walk to their house for a couple paddles.....Good grief, what a mess. I'll tell ya this, those boats don't cut through the water worth a damn, they are hard to paddle.... But anyway, I shot 4 and my buddy shot 1. Here are pics of the bigger ones, we estimated them at close to 30 lbs each. The one nearly pulled me out of the boat....Man that's fun! John, you ready buddy?
