Any proof that any of this had anything to do with the shorter lake ice season? Any chance that this global warming may take place even if there was not a single human being present on this planet? Who caused the ice age and covered the midwest with glaciers? Whose fault was it that Iowa used to be covered with an ocean? We still find shark teeth and crinoids in our creek banks when artifact hunting.
The argument is not that we are causing global warming, its that we are accelerating it faster than the world can cope
You know whats funny Fletch, we've gone full circle. We had the same question and answer earlier in the thread.
Only if you believe that we are causing global warming. Again, who caused the glaciers to melt? There is no accurate data to compare temperatures today vs several hundred years ago, not to mention several thousand years ago. Looking at rings on trees cant be considered accurate by anyone that does not already have an agenda.
You know, if those of you that really believe in this crap would do the only morally right thing and remove yourself from this terribly accelerated contribution to the earths demise, the rest of us could put a log on the fire, then grab a cold beer from the frig and hope for an earler and warmer than expected spring.
