I went out this morning for what should have been a simple task and got duped. Could not get my maxima reds broadhead tuned. I tried just about everything, then I put the broadhead on my target arrows and they were in perfect sync. I tried putting the field points on the maximas and they were dead on as well. But again, when the broadheads go on the maximas they won't tune. Fly wildly to the right. Others arrows don't have any issues at all. Fletching on the reds look fine, nocks look fine. Nocks aren't pinching. Could it really be the arrows? Feedback would be great at this point. I am baffled. Thanks in advance for any advice offered. Good luck this season!

Just an afterthought... could to much glue make the arrow flight abnormal? This was the first time out of the box since they were cut and glued at the store, and lost an insert out of one of them on the second shot.

Are your target arrows and CE arrows the same diameter, weight, length, etc?

If the arrows aren't exactly alike they will fly differently. They might be close enough that it's not showing up in field tips but the broadhead will show it.

With the same fp they both shot the same grouping and on target. With broadheads the target arrows stayed the same at impact while the maximas were way right and not grouping

Somethings different in the arrows somewhere. You can get away with a LOT with field tips, they don't try to steer the arrow like a BH.

That's basically what I shoot for 3D & hunting, I actually love that arrow, LOL! That's also who made the arrow for Gander Mtn and when they were going out of business I bought their whole stock.

CE and Victory use different spine nomenclature, for example a 400 in Victory is 400. A 250 in CE is really a 400. CE has a 350 spine and Victory has a 340. Victory's 340 spine still has an OD of .295 but CE 350 jumps to an OD of .300.

The difference in spine and OD isn't much and probably not a big deal with FTs but kind of a big deal with BHs.

I may actually use those arrows for hunting. This was another new batch and the previous half dozen were great. Very tight grouping and very consistent. I am using a bowtech bt-x 31 and the victory arrows have handled that bow nicely.
