Thank you to everyone who gave me advice on this situation. I believe that the findings on the arrow not being level was the key. I am now shooting fletchings off arrows at 20 and keeping very respectful groups at 50 yards now. and that is the only change I made to the bow. your encouragement kept me from giving up and am very glad I didnt. Thanks to everyone.
Glad to hear everything worked out for you 10pt. I ran into a similar issue when I first started shooting a Hoyt Katera a couple seasons ago. No matter what I did, my shots would always group funny and I'd end up losing an arrow almost every time I went shooting. It was so frustrating and everyone at the shop just kept telling me it was because I had switched from an older bow with a big brace height to one with a much shorter one. They didn't know me and so they just continued to tell me to keep practicing. After losing about half a dozen arrows and feeling embarrassed around the shop for a month, I finally got the owner's son to look at it after we closed up. Didn't take long until we figured out the cam timing was a little off. We took care of that and I shot my first robin hood with that bow the first time at the target. I wish I had known about this site back then, it would have saved me a lot of frustration and headaches.
