    Took the family camping this weekend up a canyon not far from the house. Yesterday morning we went exploring not far from the campsite and came across this cow moose. After watching her from about 100 yards to make sure she didn't have a calf with her somewhere, the kids and I were able to scoot around a clump of aspen and get in front of her when she came into a small clearing. She got about 35 feet from us before she realized something was up. The kids loved it, and I was really impressed with their ability to stay quiet and still.

    That is really awesome, i have seen moose from a far, but never that close
    talk about a rush!!!
