So the hunters unknowingly killed a moose on public land that is sacred to someone to whom they have no tangible relation with? Yeah, that's reasonable.
Dan, they excoriated these guys on facebook. It was nasty. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
They have this guys name and picture around the world !!!! Did u read any of those comment? Theres probably a PETA extremist writing his name down probably right plotting on this name lol
Slaughter? Really does not matter because it's none of their damn business what any hunter shoots legally.
What does a PETA extremist and the tribal members have to do with this? Was PETA asking for the hide? I didn't think so.
I agree its not any of their business. But, if they want to honor the animals life, what's the problem? I guess respecting others beliefs doesn't matter anymore.
That's the point, they don't respect the hunters belief, just their beliefs. Why do their beliefs trump the hunters?
If I was a Native and I was on the reserve and someone came in with a dead animal that I found sacred, my first reaction would be to be pissed as well. They were on the reserve when the animal was noticed in the truck. That's would be equivalent to bringing a slaughtered cow into the parking lot of a Hindu temple. Now, sometimes first reactions aren't the best reactions. Anyone here who has not overreacted and lost their cool, go ahead and cast the first stone. But, it sounds like things are smoothed over and the hunters are doing exactly what I would have done. Respected someone else's beliefs.
Totally understandable but look what they resorted to too get "there" prize. Now this is just another reason for ppl to hate hunters
Sheesh you said band members I know atleast 25 to 30% of the band members in my old high school will because ax murderers in there life time. Lol
We could chase each other around in circles all night. You see it one way and I see it another. Fair enough.
Yeah, I said band members. If you didn't know, a member of a Native Tribe is known as a Band Member. FTR, the reason I feel the way I do is because the hunters were on the Reserve when they were spotted with the "Sacred Animal." Had the tribe hunted him down because they saw some pics of FaceBook, then I would feel totally different about the situation.
No didnt know that but does it rwally matter who makes thw threats there still threats Dan thw man either way its hunters harassment its against the law tribe or no tribe
You're not serious are you? Do you know what the content of this thread is about? It absolutely matters who was making the comments. "**** the tribe, even if it wasn't them making the comments." That's about as brilliant as your typing skills tonight.
