Like his boy scouting events and piano recitals and spelling bees and school plays and church pageants and science fairs and all the other things kids do as they are growing up, my wife and I would take in what we could so while I cant specifically recall a football game that I attended, I’m certain I must have as we were responsible for giving him a ride home from all these events.
No. I cant find anywhere in this thread that I said that. My comments are very clear and available for your review.
When you have multiple kids in many many many many activities (most of which do not overlap in interest or venue) and you have a career and other obligations, you may come to understand that you can only attend so many events and since they were many years ago, I cant really recall a specific event. My wife may be the better person to ask.
I went out hundreds of times after 2am in college, many times drunk. And so did hundreds of other people....did we deserve to get beaten?
What if a person goes out at 12pm and has a few drinks with his friends and then begins to walk home before he is jumped. Is he at fault there since it wasn't after dark and after bar closing time? What if a person decides to stop at a 7-11 as he/she travels through an unfamiliar area and then gets jumped. Should we blame the victim b/c he/she did not know that particular 7-11 had terrible people frequent it?
You know the answer depends on one thing, and you are forcing me to ask... Did you stop for skittles on your way home?
Rancid, what is a person is tucked away in their bed at 2:15am and someone comes in assaults them. Are they at fault in that instance or is it just athletes who are "clubbing" after 2am? And I am starting to think something is up when I see someone say he was "clubbing" instead of just frequenting a bar....kind of like it has to do with the kids race or something.
No and nobody here suggested such a thing. In fact, I dont think the word "Deserve" ever came up until you mentoned it.
The words “Fault” and “clubbing” are not mine. Seek out those that used them and direct your questions to them. I have maintained throughout this entire inquisition a very consistent stance. Others here want to talk about other things that are not while I have talked about those things that were. But since you asked a question and I am here I will address it. You said: “what is a person is tucked away in their bed at 2:15am and someone comes in assaults them. Are they at fault in that instance” My answer is no but then you again used the word “Fault”. I would need more info to assess the level of responsibility of the person getting the whooping. Did they lock the door and create a secure environment that was breeched in violation of the law by the theoretical wrong-doers?
He should of had a concealed carry permit! But then again having some drinks would of not helped him with this.
As expected..... the plot thickens. LOL Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... cops have received tips about a brawl at a UW football player's home roughly one week before Ball was jumped on campus. According to our sources, cops have been told Ball was at the home ... and along with some of his teammates, may have participated in beating up a non-football player. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaaf...ped-because-retaliation-185110169--ncaaf.html
Huh??? It did seem odd that he was jumped and not robbed. Living in Southern WI the news has been covering this possible twist explaining thats why Ball would not name the attackers as it would lend credibility to the story of him beating up a kid earlier and this being retaliation. This will be sorted out.
No it won't be sorted out. It's in the process of being buried. LOL It's what they do when it's a big high profile dude. At least it's not a Penn State deal. The ESPN reporters are saying the coach should call everyone in behind closed doors and declare.... "THERE WILL BE NOT RETALIATION". We'll see how that works out. LOL Dumb and Dumber.
not promoting this or saying it is right, but if this is true about Ball and he and his Boyz doing this just a week before to someone...then what goes around comes around.........
