Anyone on this forum have any experience with these units? I am thinking of planning a hunt with a buddy of mine sometime in the upcoming years, I am eyeing 2022 - 2024. This would give me adequate time to obtain the proper gear and prepare for such an adventure. Anybody spend any time in the unlimiteds, any experiences worth sharing? Not asking for spots, just stories and information regarding the terrain, gear, etc.
You will find tons of information on rokslide about hunting in the unlimited units. Yes it's a sheep hunt minus lagel sheep most times. Add the quota to closing of the season to it and you better be prepared for a very very low odds situation with a lot of time invested in the endeavor. Rough beautiful, barren and empty county.
