Gri22ly, MeltonMan, and I went on a Wednesday morning shed hunt. It turned out to be fairly eventful. We found some small sheds and several great spots and rubs! What a great time! Gri22 found his half in a shallow ditch, and I found the matching side on a rub line that led to a small bedding area about 250+ yards away! Luck. I had seen this buck at least 3 times in the area. I think he will truly be a pretty good lookin' buck in the next year or two...
Anyone can find a big shed (if you have big horn in your area), they are easy to see, it is the smaller ones that are more impressive, matched sets even more so. Congrats!!!
