I don't care how obvious it is that the photos are of the same deer, Siman wins for using this video to support his argument.

    Therefor, they are separate deer.

But here's a question for those who are okay with a family poaching if they "need" the food. Is it still okay if its a world class whitetail buck?

If I was poaching for food (which I don't) it would be a nice tender yearling or small doe.
This goober was antler hunting plain and simple.
There is a BRUISER of a buck in my woods that I would love to get. I've already taken my buck so if I see him he'll just get a pass. Damn thing will probably be standing 20 yards broadside to me this weekend.

On another note. There are VERY few families in my area that would need to poach for food but I know a few that would qualify.

On yet another note. Wouldn't it be funny to watch some moron wearing a $300 scentlocker outfit and carrying a $750 rifle topped with a nice Leupold scope, telling a game warden. "I need the meat to feed my family"

Obviously the same deer. G2's come off the main beam at a backward leaning angle and it makes them look much shorter in the poacher picture. What a shame the guy could not resist breaking the law. A legal hunter would have had the trophy of a lifetime.

Regardless if they are the same racks or not... geesh, the buck in the picture with the poacher is the buck in question... AND if the other happens to not be the same rack, it's obviously a poached deer as well...

It is a real shame the way that giant went down, and that is a giant for any woods, let alone Pa. I was simply curious why 2 racks were shown in the original post? No biggie.

That's the way they were presented in the original thread in another forum... It's your opinion that they are 2 racks, that's not the opinion of many including the PGC release showing that rack, supposedly of that deer pictured..

Yeah, they are the same, look at the left G3 and left G5... they are exact! I can't fathom people don't see it. It's just that the deer picture is tilted up and the PGC photo the rack is tilted down. Same 6x7, same curl in the G3 and G5 on the left plus more.

Yes, Rob poaching sucks no matter how it was done! Its a dam shame! I wasnt going to give my opinion on if it was the same Buck in each pic but I cant hold my tounge any more! Im 100% certain its the same one! The curls and blading on certain tines is exact! coloring, bur nubs, ect! Just a severe angle change! They always look bigger when there still attached to the head of the Buck to!

I looked at the pics they are the same, the PA Game Com pic is on there site. It doesn't look that big. For what ever reason.

I'm in Western PA and we see a buck about ever two years or so of this class. We here of them from time to time and takes weeks for me to get the same report to make note of it.

Even had a PA Game Com. truck story that came about from two different people of the ghost getting hit on the road and one other person ask me about the buck in the pa Game Comm. truck. Sounds funny that one see the deer on the road dead and the other ask me if I seen it in the PGC truck. By the way rack was above the side, you tell me how big in was, one that seen it on the road said she counted 12 point, I ask her if it was a $$ buck, can you seat your self between the rack spread?

    Just a shame!!!!

But we have a number of bucks that are Ghosts, lucky to see them two or three times a year forget about any deer season.

I know of 3 bucks in our area above 140 where are they ?? what posted ground do they hide on. We are not aloud to bait here.

By the way don't get caught in PA doing anything with Big Game they changed all of the laws and are some that are not just a slap on the wrist.

No wonder some of you guys see so many bucks each season. You see the same buck 5x and count it a different buck each time.
